Always love to come here with my real estate clients when we’re in the Mount Holly area and grab a bite to eat and drinks. They have a great draft list and Mountain Candy is my go to when they’ve got it. Staff is always friendly and they do a great job of continuing the local feel that their other 2 locations have. We sat on the patio. Service was a little slow because there seemed to be only a couple of wait staff. Atmosphere made the wait worth it. Server was friendly and the food was awesome.
Our bar tender Brittany was absolutely amazing. She took great care of us, never let our glass get empty, and very personable. As always, the kitchen staff was spot on and work hard to complete their orders. On another note. The female in the picture was the definition of rude. The way she spoke to the new employee was very belittling. Talking negative and expressing her concerns of his mistakes in front of customers is the first no no. Without a doubt get off the high horse and train employees the way you expect to be treated. Feel free to reach out if you need an explanation on hospitality.
Was recommended this restaurant and it did not disappoint. The staff were incredibly friendly and treated us like we were part of the town. The hot dog was awesome. The waffle fries were fantastic and the music they were playing was on point.
The best restaurant to visit in Mt. Holly. The place doesn't have that much seating but we sat down right away, due to the time we visited. The only one negative thing is that you have to scan a QR code on your phone for the menu. On Saturdays it is 3 dollar Bloody Mary's and if you enjoy these make sure that you order one. For an appetizer I got the deep fried sweet cherry peppers that was served with Ranch. Their menu here has so much to choose from and the burgers here are massive. I chose the Blue Bayou burger that had blue cheese, caramelized onions, bacon, balsamic reduction and mayo on a toasted brioche bun. Also we had the Puppy's Patty Melt that had cheddar and pepper jack cheese, caramelized onions on Texas Toast.
This is a nice place to eat. The food and service is good. Parking could be difficult during busy times of the day, I would definitely recommend giving it a try. Everybody I know that has ate here agree that the foot long hotdogs and waffle fry’s are some of the best they have had.
This place is almost perfect. Two sides to the restaurant (choose your atmosphere). The food is fantastic. The service was great. Chairs are comfortable. And, for the first time, I have found a beer I like. I can't wait to return and update this review!
It was a really chill place to be it's great for like a one on one intimate affair or like group event the burgers where great bacon was cooked perfect for me.
